Cars » 64 Catalina 2+2 with 800hp BP 535 IAII on Pump Gas

Brad came to us wanting to put some major power in his 64 Catalina 2+2. We took his idea and turned it into a 535 cu.in 800 HP/710 ft lb Pontiac Powered Beast... and on PUMP GAS!!!

The foundation starts with a new IAII Aluminum Block with Custom Ross Pistons, Scat Forged Crank and Oliver Rods. It also features a Custom Billet 50mm Cam with Crower Roller Lifters, T & D Shaft Rocker Assembly. Butler/Edelbrock Custom Round Port 360cfm CNC Wide Port Heads, Ignition components by MSD, and a BP GZ Evac System. To give it a beautiful shine, we installed a March "Style Track" Serpentine Pulley System, polished intake, and BP polished fabricated valve covers.

A Word from Brad

"Finally got my engine installed, that I received from Butler Performance. It's a 535 IAII aluminum block with BP/Edelbrock wide port heads, installed and running in my 64 Catalina 2+2. What a beast! I couldn't be happier with the workmanship and quality they have displayed! Very helpful throughout the entire build process. Thank you again, she runs great! I would also like to thank my wife DiAnne for her patience, and most of the time understanding, during this build. Also, thanks to my daughter Jamie Lin, for the great pics! Would like to give a big thank you to John, Pam, Tony Rossi, Taylor, and Tom Kelly from the home based shop we call Rossi's Hot Rod Garage with the install! A big shout out to Craig and Doug for the electrical updates. Great job guys! Thank you to Dave Crawford at Dave's Muffler & Repair, for the exhaust and suspension work. A big shout out to Rossler Transmissions and Gear Vendors for delivering all that BP power to the Fab Craft 9.3 Trophy Trac posi rear end! Hard work and long hours are much appreciated!

Thank you all Bad Brad"
