These Icon pistons feature a diamond-machined skirt, head, mini-grooves, pin bore, gas accumulator, ring grooves, and pressure-drilled pin hole oiling. They have a V-rib design for light weight, strength, and maximum piston cooling.
Icon Line of Forged Pontiac Pistons by Keith Black use a high quality forging that results in a much lighter piston than the Federal Mogul/TRW. The pin is also quite a bit lighter than the TRW.
