The EFI Solutions Ignition Series takes the complete EFI and fuel tank package and adds the spark side, so the system controls timing instead of just fuel. Modern self-tuning ECUs can hold a timing curve far better than a mechanical advance ever did, but only if there is a compatible distributor feeding them a clean signal.
Butler builds these around Edelbrock EZ-Street with a Pro Tuner distributor, FAST EZ-EFI 1.0 with a full MSD ignition system, and Holley Sniper 2 with plug-and-play HyperSpark support. Every kit still includes the EFI-ready fuel tank and in-tank fuel system.

1. Why the spark side belongs in the kit
An EFI conversion that only controls fuel leaves half the tune in a fifty year old distributor. Adding electronic timing control is what turns a bolt-on into a proper engine management system.

2. The three ignition packages
| EZ-Street with Edelbrock Pro Tuner distributor | A short tooth Hall-effect trigger distributor for Pontiac 326-455, with a hardened steel shaft, sealed upper ball bearing and sintered steel bushing. Paired with the EZ-Street ECU it delivers fully integrated timing control. |
| FAST EZ-EFI 1.0 with complete MSD ignition | An MSD Pro Billet distributor, MSD 6AL ignition box, MSD coil, MSD wires in color and cut to fit or precut options, and wire looms. This is the package for a builder who wants a known MSD ignition stack alongside the self-tuning EFI. |
| Holley Sniper 2 with HyperSpark | The Sniper 2 main harness includes plug-and-play HyperSpark distributor support for integrated timing control. Adapters exist separately for CD boxes and MSD Pro Billet or crank trigger setups. |
3. Coils, wires and the internal driver question
| Internal coil drivers | Both the EZ-Street and Pro-Flo 4 ECUs have an internal coil driver capable of firing an inductive coil directly, so most applications do not need a separate CDI box. |
| Validated coils | Edelbrock lists MSD Blaster 2, Blaster 3 and Street Fire, Pertronix Flame-Thrower and its own coil as validated to work with Pro-Flo 4. Add a coil and wires to make a complete EFI ignition solution. |
| Distributor gear | The Pro-Flo 4 distributor uses a .500 in. gear. Match the gear material to your camshaft before the engine runs, not after. |
If the distributor in the engine is an unknown or a tired points conversion, buy the Ignition Series. You were going to replace it anyway, and matched parts save a week of chasing a signal problem.
