Please read the details of our return procedures before filling out the return form located at the bottom of the page. Please allow 1-3 business days for your RMA Request to be approved.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order for a refund or exchange. Return and exchanges are allowed within 30 days from the date of the receipt and must be authorized by Butler Performance prior to return shipping. (If applicable, your item may be repaired or replaced under the Manufacturer's Warranty at the discretion of Butler Performance. See warranty stipulations included with each item for more details.)
Restocking fees of up to 15% may apply depending on circumstances and condition of parts/packaging once received and inspected at BP.
There may be a cancellation fee on canceled orders. Special order or custom parts may not be eligible to be canceled or returned. Some special orders that are manufactured such as pistons are not eligible for cancellation once the order is processed.
All authorized returned merchandise must be unused and in its original saleable packaging. It is the responsibility of the customer/installer to verify the correctness of the size and application of the parts before installation.
No returns or exchanges on merchandise that show signs of having been opened, installed, modified, mounted, scratched, defaced, or custom products will be allowed without authorization by Butler Performance. Items returned in any of these conditions may not be accepted and returned at buyers expense.
Returns are to be sent freight/ground prepaid and insured by the customer OR by return shipping label issues by Butler Performance . A refund or exchange will not be considered until all relevant items, hardware, and accessories have been returned to Butler Performance. Contact our offices via e-mail, or Online RMA Request to obtain an RMA# prior to returning any merchandise. Please put this number on the outside of all boxes returned for fastest processing. Some packages without the RMA# on the outside of the box it could be refused at the dock.
Any customer refused shipment sent back to Butler Performance does not constitute the right to a refund or credit. It is the customer's responsibility to make all arrangements with Butler Performance for the shipment prior to its return. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. All custom entry fees and duty charged to Butler Performance associated with any return or exchange will be charged to the customer.
Return credits or refunds will not be processed until the items are inspected and approved. Please allow additional 2-3 business days for this process. Additional restocking fees could be assessed on orders after inspection based on damaged packaging or issues with the returned parts.
Items purchased during any free shipping or free freight promotions will have actual shipping charges deducted from the refund amount.
Customer responsible for return shipping. Visit your local post office or a UPS shipping store to arrange return shipping.
Refunds will be made via the same payment method as purchase or in-house credits can be left on file. Refunds can take 3-5 business days
Did your package arrive damaged or missing parts?
Shortage and damage claims must be made within 10 working days of receipt date. All claims for damaged merchandise must be made with the carrier and Butler Performance. Keep all shipping cartons and packing materials for carrier inspection. Butler Performance will ship replacements and/or return the defective part at our expense.
For parts going to builders or shops: It is your responsibility to have the shop/builder/third party open and document all parts received by them on your behalf. Butler Performance is not responsible for missing parts from a shop/builder/third party shipping destination not checked within 5 business days of receipt.
