Pontiac V8 Holley Terminator Stealth EFI Systems
Four Injectors or Eight — Holley Terminator Stealth EFI Systems for Pontiac V8s
Holley Terminator X Stealth systems are 4150-flange throttle bodies that look like a carburetor and hide their wiring, built on the Terminator X ECU with an internal 1 bar MAP sensor, fuel map self-learning and integrated ignition timing control. They are the step up when a four-injector body runs out of fuel.
Butler stocks the 650 four-injector version and the 1250 eight-injector version in black. Both use a 3.5 in. full color touchscreen for setup and gauge display and a genuine Bosch LSU 4.9 wide-band oxygen sensor for real-time fuel map learn.

More About Holley Terminator Stealth EFI Systems
1. The 650 and the 1250
Both bolt on a 4150 flange and look the same from six feet away. The difference is injector count, and the number that moves is the boosted rating, not the naturally aspirated one.
| 650 Terminator X Stealth | Four 100 lb/hr injectors supporting up to 650 HP naturally aspirated or 600 HP on forced induction. For most Pontiac street and strip engines this is all the fuel there is a reason to buy. |
| 1250 Terminator X Stealth | Eight 100 lb/hr injectors supporting up to 650 HP naturally aspirated or 1250 HP on forced induction. Note the naturally aspirated figure is unchanged; the eight-injector body is a boost purchase. |
| MAP sensor | Both carry an internal 1 bar MAP sensor built into the Terminator X ECU. |
2. Timing and transmission control
Terminator X does more than meter fuel, and on a swapped or converted car the extra control is often what justifies it.
| Ignition | Integrated ignition timing control improves idle stability, fuel economy and wide open throttle performance. A timed spark port for vacuum advance distributors sits under the front fuel bowl where you can reach it. |
| Kickdown | Provisions for GM TH350/400 and 200R4/700R4 and Ford C4/C6 linkages are built into the throttle body. |
| Electronic transmissions | Terminator X Max Stealth 4150 kits add transmission control for pre-2009 GM 4L60E and 4L80E units. If an overdrive automatic is in the plan, that is the version to ask about. |
3. The fuel pressure it demands
| External regulator required | Terminator X Stealth systems require an external fuel pressure regulator set to a base pressure of 58.5 PSI. It is not built into the throttle body. |
| Plan the return | That regulator wants a return path to the tank, which means the tank and lines need to be sorted before the EFI goes on. Butler's Complete EFI Solutions packages cover the tank, in-tank pump, line kit and regulator together. |
| Oxygen sensor | The included Bosch LSU 4.9 wide-band drives the fuel map learn. Replacement Holley wide-band sensors for Terminator X are stocked under EFI Components. |
If the engine is naturally aspirated and under 650 HP, the four-injector version is the honest choice and the eight-injector body buys you nothing. Buy the 1250 when there is boost in the plan.
