Butler Performance built w/Edelbrock Castings
Our Heads feature Edelbrock bare casting cores with all machine work done in our head shop. They are fitted with Ferrea Valves, new guides, Comp Cams Springs, Comp locators, Comp Retainers and Locks. with optional upgrades.
These heads are custom built per order by Butler Performance
Cam Specs- Supplying known Cam Specs are recommended so we can verify the spring setup.
Application- Choose your application so we can verify the head ordered has the proper components for your application
Retainer- Choose standard Chromoly, Titanium or PAC Brand Titanium with Pac Locks
Valves- Choose from Ferrea 5000 (Street Performance) or 6000 (Competition Grade) Valves
Chamber Option- Choose hand polished or cnc machined
Stealth- This is the option where we remove logos from the end of the heads and above the exhaust port. Optionally can be painted
Intake Gaskets- Choose to add intake gaskets
Rocker Slotting- We can slot the pushrod holes to accommodate the angle needed for 1.65 ratio rockers
Exhaust Valve Size- Choose standard size 1.66 or upgrade to 1.77

Our Butler cylinder heads have the same specifications as our popular Performer RPM 61519 Round Port cylinder heads for 1962-79 455 cubic inch Pontiac engines, but feature a CNC machined combustion chamber. The CNC machined chamber results in a consistent and precise chamber for improved flow performance & more efficient combustion. Performer RPM CNC cylinder heads are available in two chamber sizes. The 87cc chamber version is ideal for 10:1 engines and will deliver excellent street performance on low octane fuel. Performer RPM CNC cylinder heads with 72cc chambers are best for higher compression engines. Both are patterned after the same port flange configuration as the 1969-1970 Ram-Air IV Pontiac Round Port cylinder heads. EQUIPPED WITH SPRINGS FOR USE IN HYDRAULIC ROLLER CAMSHAFT APPLICATIONS

Our valve jobs are done using Serti equipment for ultra high precision valve seating and valve guides. This equipment is standard in high precision applications such as Formula One Racing and super high performance racing applications.
