Butler Performance offers Pontiac Muscle Car suspension upgrades and kits. Butler Performance partners with Ridetech to provide a range of kits, from simple Street Upgrades and Coil-Over systems to full Air Ride kits.

These systems are designed to update vintage muscle cars with modern handling, exceptional ride quality, and a lowered stance, often dramatically improving suspension geometry for better drivability.

 

Key features found in these kits often include:

  • StreetGRIP Systems: Complete solutions designed for direct replacement of the original suspension. They feature lowering springs, HQ Series rebound adjustable shock absorbers (with a 1,000,001 mile warranty), high-performance Delrin bushings to eliminate stiction, heavy-duty sway bars (MuscleBars), and Tall Ball Joints to dramatically improve the OEM camber curve for more stable cornering.

     

  • Coil-Over Systems: Complete packages utilizing HQ Series Coil-Overs that include front upper and lower StrongArms (control arms), Tall Spindles, and front and rear MuscleBars. The components work together to increase caster and camber gain, maximizing tire contact patch during cornering and improving high-speed stability.

     

  • Air Ride Systems: Kits designed to achieve an ultra-low show stance while maintaining modern drivability. These include components like ShockWaves (a blend of air spring and shock absorber), StrongArms, and specialized control arms with features like R-Joint Technology for better traction, handling, and quiet operation.

     
     

  • Air Ride Control Systems: Separate accessories like the RidePro E5 Digital Control System are available for managing the Air Ride components, offering leveling and compressor systems for fine-tuning ride height and performance.
