Pontiac L-Brackets to Bolt Manifolds on 1972 Heads (Set) They use the drilled and tapped hole on the front (or back) of the heads. If you have heads that have the pad, but are not drilled and tapped - you can not use the head L brackets.

Description

Set of head "L" brackets to install MANIFOLDS (or headers) on 1972 Pontiac D port heads with casting #'s 7K3, 7H1,7J2, 7L4, 7M5
In 1972 Pontiac did not cast an area of metal and deleted end bolts on exhaust manifolds.
This kit produced by Spotts Performance allows use of
both standard and Ram Air exhaust manifolds.

This kit will not work on any other year Pontiac head - just 1972
see photo of cylinder head to verify your head or check your casting #.
If you have the casting there (on other year heads) you will have to drill and tap the pad - this kit will not work! 1972 only!!!
This kit includes 4 brackets (2 front and 2 rear)
Does not include 4 short 3/8 bolts (to mount brackets) and 4 - 3/8 nuts (to attach manifolds)
