just oredered this item as i needed a new screen for a used/unknown oil pump.
not only did i receive a new screen, but received a new pump as well (p/n MEL54DS ).
description and price of this item leads to beleive that this is only a melling screen, when in fact it is the complete assy. just wanted to let other customers know about this, cheers.
