Permanently presses into the top of the bolt hole, which completely eliminates the problem of the aluminum collapsing into the bolt hole. This happens when older aluminum heads that have been torqued several times, along with heat from the exhaust over time.

Once you install the T washers,  we torque the head studs into the block at 30 ft/lbs. 

Re-torque heads to 120 ft/lbs after initial heat cycle and then again after you put several miles or drag passes on it.
