Flowkooler Pontiac 11-Bolt Early 1969 Short Hi Volume Cast Iron Water Pump w/ Billet Aluminum Impeller (4" Long) BRW-1647

The 1647 Flowkooler Hi-Flow water pumps are available. These pumps came in the early 1969 Pontiac's when they changed from the 8 bolt to 11 timing covers. Later in 1969 Pontiac moved to the 1649 style 4-1/2" water pump. These pumps are a drastic improvement over the factory cast impeller and and aftermarket stamped metal impellers. They feature an aluminum body with aluminum impeller made with a tight clearance to the divider plate so no modification necessary to allow optimum water flow. 

***From Flowkooler-"Expect some temporary seepage of coolant from the "weep hole" located on the lower side of the shaft housing. The seal will lap in and the seepage will cease. Failure to follow the installation instructions (#10) will cause premature seal failure."***
