Description

Why spend time and money reconditioning your stock 40+ year old cast rods when you can upgrade to a set of FORGED connecting rods at such a great price? They're forged from 5140 steel for outstanding strength and reliability and they come in press-fit only. The rods are X-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, and shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal. Big end sizing is held to tolerances that exceed O.E. specifications through the use of CNC sizing equipment. Each set is sold in weight-matched sets (+/- 2g) and weight approximately 870 grams. They come with 7/16 ARP rod bolts (vs. stock 3/8" bolts)!
