Maximum billet, maximum clearance — the tall answer for a serious Pontiac valvetrain.

When you're running a big roller-rocker setup, a stud girdle, or tall valve springs, you need room under the cover — and you don't want to give up looks to get it. These are our Tall billet valve covers, CNC machined from solid 6061 aircraft-grade billet aluminum right here at Butler, with the same sleek rounded contours and precision-milled sealing rail as our Short set, just with the height your valvetrain is asking for.

At 3¾" tall, this is the clearance version: it will clear most stud girdles and gives your roller rockers the breathing room they need. Every set is cut from billet and built to order, so it ships finished exactly the way you spec it — logo, oil fill, and breathers all your call.

What's included

• Matched set of Tall billet CNC valve covers, made to order
• Stainless steel hold-down bolts
• Threaded oil fill with billet cap (aluminum sets ship the Billet Specialties BSP-24110 screw-in cap when you add the drilled oil-fill option)

Build them your way

• Finish: natural billet aluminum or black anodized
• Logo: run them plain, or have your logo CNC milled right into the covers — Butler Pontiac, GTO, Pontiac Racing, or fully custom engraving (logo machining is an add-on)
• Breathers / oil fill: we'll drill for breathers and oil fill wherever you want them — just enter the locations in the order notes (e.g., "oil fill – driver front, breathers – driver & passenger rear")
• Evac ready: add the Evac Bung & Baffle option for a vacuum/evac system. Covers ship without breather holes when the evac bung is selected — GZ evac kits run a -10AN bung, Butler/Moroso kits a -12AN

Fitment notes — please read before ordering

• Made for the Pontiac V8.
• Clears most stud girdles — this is the set for roller-rocker and girdle setups.
• Will not work with factory A/C brackets.
• May not clear power brake boosters at this height — measure from the valve cover rail on the head to the booster (you need 3" of clearance). If a booster is tight, look at our Short 2¾" billet set.
