This high capacity pan is for Pontiac 301-455 engines and features a side pouch which offers increased oil capacity while still providing considerable x-member clearance. It has an 8" deep by 11-1/2" wide sump. This pan requires our 15-401 pickup. The Pan Features: * Retains All Stock Dimensions & Capacity * Slosh Baffle * Magnetic Drain Plug

I purchased this oil pan from Butler Performance several years ago. No leaks and no problems with the installation. I got it for the extra oil capacity. E-heads don't drain back as fast as the factory heads and I just wanted to make sure my engine did not have an oil starvation issue. I also bought a crank scaaper and windage tray at the same time. Everything works fine.
