Choose Idle Quality:

  • Milder 114 Lobe Separation- Smoother, More Vacuum- BP8031SP
  • Performance 112 Lobe Separation- Medium Choppiness- BP8030SP
  • More Aggressive 110 Lobe Separation- Rougher Style Choppy Idle- BP8032SP

What Is Lobe-Separation Angle? LSA is the distance from the centerline of the intake lobe to the centerline of exhaust lobe.

 Tighter lobe separation results in a rougher idle and less idle manifold vacuum but delivers more midrange and peak power. Wider lobe separation resulted in a higher top-end and makes more vacuum but makes less peak power with a less aggressive idle.
